Instructions for use (an example)
Let melt for 1 h in room temperature. Open up the dough into sheets (make sure that the dough is completely melted so that the seams will not break apart). The dough can be prepared into small or large wieners. One can make a total of 24 small wieners, 12 folded wieners, approximately 20 twisted wieners or 4 long wiener rolls. No need to let rise, but if you do not bake them straight away, let rise for a maximum of 1.5 hours. Baking instruction: Long wiener rolls are baked in the oven’s middle tier at +200°C for approx. 15-17 min. Smaller wieners at +20°C for approx. 10-15 min. The wieners can be filled with your desired bakeable filling; e.g., apple, rhubarb, plum, raspberry or apricot marmalade, etc., as well as with vanilla cream or a curd filling. Before baking, the wieners can be smeared with egg or milk and sprinkled with grained sugar. After baking, icing can be squeezed into the cooled wieners or icing sugar can be sprinkled on top. Delicious filled wiener doughnuts can also be made from the wiener dough; one package can make approximately 12 filled doughnuts. Cut the sheets into twelve square pieces, inject, for example, an apple jam stripe (with a vanilla stripe next to it) into the middle of the piece, smear the edges with water and close well, also press the folded edge to get symmetrical doughnuts, bake right away or let rise in room temperature for approx. 60 min. Heat canola oil or doughnut baking oil to about +170°C, test with a piece of dough if the oil is the correct temperature -> if the piece rises to surface straight away and gets a nice color within about a minute, the cooking oil is the right temperature. Fry the doughnuts in the oil for about 1 min/side, take them out of the oil on, for example, kitchen towels for a minute and after that roll the doughnut around in sugar. Apples, for example, can be chopped and placed on a whole dough disk, and a crumb mixture sprinkled on top, which gives you a wiener pie.

Bulletin: Omega-3 (source Wikipedia/omega-3)
Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are essential for normal brain development and functioning, but are often lacking in modern diets. They are found in fish and seafood, as well as in some nuts and seeds and green leafy vegetables. Everyone needs an adequate amount of these unsaturated fatty acids for both proper brain functioning and physical well-being. Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce cardiac arrhythmias and increase blood flow. Humans do not produce omega-3 fatty acids by themselves, so the acids must be supplied either through one’s diet or by supplements.

Summary

Omega-3 fatty acids

  • are important for the heart and bloodstream
  • keep blood vessels soft and elastic (remove fat accumulations from blood vessels)
  • are important for the brain and mental health
  • are good for the eyes and sight
  • have a positive effect on the skin and joints
